Guest, Speaker, Performer Bios - Vidyalatha Jeerage

Guru Vidyalatha Jeerage is the founder of Vidya Dance Academy and Smaran Performing Arts in Santa Clara, CA. She learned Bharatanatyam from Guru Smt. Manjula Paramesh and later from renowned late Guru Smt. Narmada. She is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards through her dance career. As founder of Smaran, she provides opportunities to young talented classical across the Bay Area, including programs at the annual Smaran Dance Festival created by her. She has choreographed the “Mahalakshmi Vaibhava” dance ballet.
