Guest, Speaker, Performer Bios - Vivek Kaisare

Vivek Kaisare is an Indian-American biotechnology professional who was born in Mumbai, India. Vivek obtained his bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Manipal University in 1992. After working in the Indian pharmaceutical Industry for a few years, he came to the United States and completed his master’s in pharmacy administration from the University of Mississippi in 1999. Since then, he has taken up roles of increasing responsibility in the biopharmaceutical industry and is currently commercial lead at a biotech company in New Jersey. Over the years, he has published in pharmaceutical trade & scientific publications.

Vivek strives to live a balanced lifestyle which includes varied activities such as cross-training, reading non-fiction genres and is a serious music enthusiast and amateur sitarist. He recently began his first foray into writing books with a new book on GSB history called “From Sapta Sindhu to Sapta Konkan – The Incredible Journey of the Gauda Saraswat Brahmans.” Vivek currently lives in New Jersey with his wife Shantala Kaikini, a consummate artist and their daughter Sachi, who is in high school.
